Death Mattel

Formed March 2004 Death Mattel [named after weeks of deliberation] rehearsed fervently in Castle Hill (Western Sydney) for about three months before recording the bulk of the first release DAN 1368. After a short break and the departure of Dave Cassell (guitarist/ co-founder/ song writer) a stable of Sydney stalwarts were called on to fill the gap. One such session dude was Jeremy Smith, a man of considerable rock cred [he’ll hate this]. Jez covered the live bits to round out the trio once more. So far, that’s it. But stand by for a whole list of bullshit-dreams and inspirational ideals. At the end of the day kids, its just another fucking band.
