The Devoted Few

The Devoted Few
It was 2000 when Ben Fletcher started playing solo shows in Sydney and Melbourne with Skye Knight on piano. The duet was called The Devoted Fail. After playing shows with Paul Dempsey (Something for Kate), Glenn Richards (Augie March), and Screamfeeder, Ben started searching for others to help him flesh out his beautifully sleepy acoustic ballads. Daniel Graham (guitar), Richard Coneliano (drums) and Adam ‘Wesley’ Gregorace (bass) fit the bill, and after a name change, The Devoted Few was born. In August 2002, Barry Adamson (guitar) joined and the band officially became a six-piece. The Devoted Few play the music to the soundtrack of your life. They weave in and out of dark corners with smoky tales of that indescribable feeling you get at 3am when your mind just won’t sleep, hence the title of their debut album.
